Well, I have booked my flight and hotel – all that remains are several hundred K’s of paddling mostly on my own and probably in the dark until April!

There is a bigger than ever UK contingent going over this year from the South West (Devon & Cornwall) along with a keen London crew led by Graham O’Regan. If you went last the organisation, warm climate, great apre coffee on the marina and amazing race are all too much to miss. For those who are toying with the idea, this is the order of events you must follow:

  1. check the video out from last years race
  2. book flight & Hotel
  3. sell the idea as a romantic break in a historic Spanish town by the beach to your partner
  4. start training like a maniac!
