The first of this years Academy days will start this Saturday at Shoreham Rowing club at 9.30 meeting at the finishing at 3.30 approx – cost of the day will be £50.

The focus of the day is to hone effecient paddling technique using a combination of dryland, video feedback and water work.

There will be:

  • 2 x  ergo technique work with video feedback and analysis
  • 1 x water session

Timings:

  • 9:30 meet
  • 9:45 video paddling technique
  • 10:15 video analysis
  • 10:45 ergo technique work
  • 11:00 break
  • 12:15 drill work
  • 1:15 ready boat
  • 3:00 session debreif

Kit:

You will need kit to get sweaty in and one set of kit to paddle on the water with plus,  food and drink. And a pen!

Demo:

Demo paddles and skis will also be available for the day if you wish to try different types of kit – please call or email if you would like to trying something specific.
