We now have in stock a limited number of Fenn 1’s, 4’s and 5’s.
International ocean racing along with the rigours of the domestic racing scene in South Africa have provided a harsh testing ground for the Fenn paddle brand. Used Internationally by many of the worlds best is testament to their performance.
The finish is excellent as soon as you start to paddle with them you will find them well balanced in the water.
Fenn has now upgraded all of their paddles utilising the highest quality carbon for a supper strong and light composite. The adjustable clamping system has been revamped making disassembly and adjustment quick and easy after every session.
The Fenn 1: is a stable blade giving good stability throughout the stroke – these are an ideal introductory paddle for those who are still developing their technique and strength.
The Fenn 4: is a world beater used by Dawid Mocke and many of the top European paddlers. A bigger sized blade for the bigger stronger paddler. Ideal for sprint racing (Surf Life Saving) and for the bigger paddlers in long distance ocean paddling.
This paddle comes with a split shaft as standard giving greater flexibility for quick off the mark speed in varying surf conditions.
The versatility of the split shaft allows the paddle to adapt to your needs. Shaft length and blade angles are clearly marked enabling life long use – importantly it gives the developing paddler the opportunity to fine tune which paddle length and blade angle suit them without costly mistakes!
The Fenn 5: is a classic – strong catch delivering optimum force. A very small blade makes for easy entry and exit for the for the lighter paddler, perfect for younger paddlers (12+) and girls.
Great for smaller adventure racers, the smaller blade enables a and easy constant rating.
With a split shaft this is an ideal paddle for the developing young paddler allowing them to adjust the blade angle when needed. Importantly, the versatility of being able to adjust the paddle length to compensate for spurts in height and strength will save you hundreds of pounds.
